Everything was exceptionally clean, the room was bright and cozy, the kitchen extremely well-equipped and well-organised with a large window. And even though it's close to Reykjavik (40m by car), we managed to see some auroras here!

Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre. Located at the foot of mountains, you can enjoy the impressive view from the room or go hiking for a closer look. This is a beautiful house, well designed, with awesome rain showers. The host is kind, lives just above the guest quarters, and was very helpful with our later arrival time. Everything seems new and nicely designed. There are plenty of shower and toilets (which is a real treat - compared to many guesthouses). The views are very nice. Beds super comfy. Everything felt just perfect. Ample parking and easy to find. In close vicinity, there is a hot bath, and also an ice lagoon which is beautiful and not so crowded. You have to bring your own food/cooking as there are not stores in vicinity. The views are stunning, the area is very scenic, and Stephen, the host, is very welcoming Would absolutely recommend.

Set on a working cow farm, these cottages feature a hot tub, kitchenette and terrace with BBQ facilities. All have picturesque views of Eyjafjöll Mountain. Iceland’s Ring Road is 2 km away. Free WiFi is available. Good service and beautiful accommodation!

Efstidalur Farmhotel has Icelandic horses for hire, which is an ideal way to explore the surrounding countryside. Lake Laugarvatn is 12 km away. Amazing experience. We were coming late, so I texted them and the staff prepared a room for us and left a key. So check in at 11 pm went smoothly. We had nice warm room, we liked everything! Highly recommend

Beautiful cottage surrounded by nature and close to a farm. Excellent cleanliness, equipped with all amenities (electric stove, pots, dishes etc.). We did not use the heated pool, but the service is there.
