The room was beautiful, light filled and wonderfully comfortable, with amazing views. The host was incredible and is an excellent chef - the dinner and breakfast were delicious! He was also very informative of Portuguese history, food and farming - every conversation was an opportunity to learn. Even more appreciated was his understanding when we ran into health issues that impacted the length of our stay - he was super supportive and helped make a difficult situation much easier. Highly recommend staying here!

Located in the village of Brejinho de Água do Sul, a 15-minute drive from the town of Grândola, Monte do Brejinho de Água offers apartments with traditional and simple architecture. Each unit includes free WiFi. The owner was a lovely host and could not have been kinder. This is his families property for generations and his commitment and passion can be felt. He gave us very his tips, provided us with an ice bag to keep our wine chilled and accommodated my husband for his business calls in a quiet space. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom. Breakfast was very good and home made.

Each is air conditioned and has a TV, seating area, safe and a private bathroom, with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. Pretty much a perfect stay! Beautiful accommodation and setting, clean, quiet, very friendly, great breakfast, and we loved exploring the running/cycle paths within the grounds. The location was also ideal, being so close to Grandôla and Comporta for restaurants, beautiful beaches and local wineries.

Breakfast is served each day and is included in the room rate. It is composed of regional bread, fruits, juice and milk, butter and jams from Pero Vicente or other neighbouring farms. We stayed for three nights at this magical, atmospheric place. The host Vitor, is friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable; he made us feel welcome and gave us many recommendations for the region’s beautiful spots and good restaurants. The breakfast, served in the garden, was delicious and included homemade jam, honey and cakes. Amazing place, highly recommended to nature, dog and cat lovers.
