Guests at the farm stay can make the most of yoga classes offered in-house. Guests at Hortas do Rio - Casa de Campo will be able to enjoy activities in and around Carrapateira, like cycling. Probably the nicest place we ever stayed at. This really is slow living at its best and we enjoyed every second of it. Everyone was so nice and friendly and everything was just perfect.

Nothing could be bad in this place because the service is perfect, the place is just perfect and peaceful, the houses are all new with beautiful decoration. The location is perfect. Honestly.. nothing could be bad here ❤️ we went there for a getaway as we really needed as a family and they made us feel like at home. Location, room, breakfast, hosts & dogs - lovely! We travelled with a baby so we received a cot, blanket, extra towels and baby high chair during breakfast. Thank you! I would highly recommed having a car while staying here as it is hard to arrive using other transportation methods. By car, I would say the road is pretty good. 15 minutes drive from Faro.

It's a very quiet space, great for families. It has the bonus of taking our dog, who had the company of Zen (a beautiful German Shepherd who lives in the hotel).

Antonio and Daniel are such down to earth, welcoming hosts with incredible knowledge of the land and homesteading. The breakfast was amazing—so many homemade goodies that we got to try!
