Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with a garden and bar. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Excellent service, beautiful property and location, nice and quiet. We also loved the restaurant above the hotel, we ended getting dinner there a couple times. Definitely would recommend.

The area is popular for fishing and hiking, and car hire is available at the farm stay. If you would like to discover the area, windsurfing, diving and cycling are possible in the surroundings and A Casa Estrelícia-Dourada Garcês can arrange a bicycle rental service. The apartment was fabulous.We had the large three room accommodation but only used one bedroom . The eye for detail in the design was superb.We loved our three outdoor sitting areas . The owners Leonel and his wife were very very helpful and gave us lots of ideas as to what to do in the area.We hope to return .

The apartments and studios are set in renovated family vineyard houses. Each of the self-catering units comes with a fully-equipped kitchenette, bedroom, garden and a furnished terrace. The heated units have a cosy living area. Free WiFi is available in all areas. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Presenting a rustic style, materials as basalt stone and wood are combined in harmony with a fireplace in the living room. A flat-screen cable TV is included. There is a double room and a modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. It was perfect for us, quiet and super friendly people running it! We were so happy we booked another 3 night instantly! We would absolutely recommend this place and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Breakfast is included in the rate and the guests are the ones preparing their own meals at their accommodation. We provide the following food for breakfast: farm eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, cheese,ham, butter and homemade jams. Guests can also enjoy the barbecue area. The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

A fridge and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The perfect villa for any budding explorer looking to enjoy the natural beauty that Madeira’s landscape has to offer, or fire safety enthusiast looking for the gold standard in both prevention and cover (should the silent assassin come knocking). Where should we start? Correct extinguishers; clearly labelled, easily accessible, all within close proximity of the hazard identified. Fire escapes clear from obstruction and surprise surprise, correctly signposted. Please also note the independently powered lighting in this escape route, a touch that didn’t go un noticed. Manual alarm points, correctly installed and labelled no more than 1.4m from the ground and fully serviceable (we checked). Fire blankets conveniently stored next to cooking hazards and what’s more, with English instructions. At no point during our stay did we feel our safety was being compromised by lousy fire safety protocols or unserviceable equipment. We slept soundly, knowing everything had been done to protect us.. because we all know… fire doesn’t sleep.

Featuring mountain and garden views, this farm stay also has free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The location is absolutely perfect. View is amazing and i love all the animals around the house (i would recommend you dont dislike cats). The house is lovely, very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equiped, I cooked quite a lot. Laura is an amazing host, helped us a lot.

Moinho do Comandante is located in São Roque, in Madeira. The unit is in a naturally green property, which features a spring of drinkable water.
