Every member of the staff took personal care of us…..Mr. Anoop and Shafeeq at the reception/ front desk were absolutely stellar with their hospitality and timely advice. Shafeeq regaled us with beautiful insights of his experience in the region. A huge thanks to Mr. Ramzan for stitching together a wonderful itinerary given the weather related restrictions around the time we visited. Arif……the guy who drove us around was simply fantastic……such a humble wonderful person and an expert driver navigating the treacherous terrains of Ladakh….. Last but not the least, the staff at the restaurant (Zasgyrath) were very friendly and always up for a nice banter. A big shout out to Tara, Sunil, Arun for their hospitality. The management is conscious of the environmental impact and has already taken serious actions to curb / mitigate the impact on the environment given that Ladakh’s delicate ecosystem. The bottling plant that serves the guests with pure filtered water in sealed glass bottles. This is an absolute winner and encourage the management to push for more such initiatives. I would strongly recommend guests to stay at the Grand Dragon just for the incredible hospitality.

Everything about the trip was superb. Mind you we went in second week of March 2023 and 80% leh was shut. The hotel itself had very few bookings coz of off season. Yet the hotel made extra efforts and made us super comfortable. Special mention for Mr Stanzin Sonam and wonder woman Ms Tani who can take care of anything that guests ever needed. We had a family/ deluxe double twin room. Spacious comfortable and a beautiful view. Since very few guests we were offered Ala carte instead of buffet. Delicious and lip smacking breakfast. I highly recommend a stay there. We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days.
