Very chic hotel with elements of modern minimalist look and a hip/cool feel. Right in the heart of Kona tourist area with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. When we asked about a microwave, they sent one to our room immediately.

There was beach gear included, such as an umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, snorkelling gear, cooler. Good central location, but we mostly drove north about 30-40 min for the best beaches.

It is close to one sand beach to play with the waves (5 mins) and one beach park that is good for snorkeling (10 mins). There is also a small pool to cover the whole spectrum of swimming needs. The snorkeling equipment was highly appreciated. Moreover, that place is recently renovated so it gives the feeling of clean and new. Last but not least, I LOVED the bed...
