Located at 1,640 metres above sea level in Katschberghöhe, 500 metres from the Gamskogel Express Cable Car, Das Alpenhaus Katschberg 1640 inkl Lungau Card offers ski-to-door access and a 600 m² spa area which can be used free of charge. Free WiFi is available. Fantastic location, you can ski out and in the hotel. Ski area is great, after-ski parties as well in nearby cafee. Nice spa area and great friendly personel. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

All of the modern units come with at least 1 bathroom, a sofa and wooden floors. Most units offer a balcony or a terrace with panoramic mountain views and most await guests with a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette. We had an amazing time staying at Das Liftplatzl for 6 nights in August. It served us as a great base to travel in Lungau, north karinthia and south Salzburg regions. Our girls had great fun finishing each day at the beautiful and warm pool. The staff were very kind and generous, always with a smile, especially towards our kids. The apartment has everything a family needs - we have never seen such a level of attention to details, everything with style and at top quality. We wish to come here again to experience a family ski vacation - it’s perfectly located right on a cable car :)

The spacious apartments all feature a balcony overlooking the mountains. We highly recommend this place! The facilities at the hotel, the location and surroundings, and of course the staff at the hotel was very friendly and service minded, everything was top.

Facilities include a spa centre with an indoor pool. staff, cleanliness, comfort, pet friendly. my car was damaged by accident in the hotel and they paid for the fix with no questions asked.

Hotel ideally located in the centre of the village close to all pistes and lifts.
