The en suite bathroom is complete with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Amazing hotel, right on the lake and the main promenade. the staff is lovely and very accommodating. The bartender Andrea is amazing and very friendly as well as his older colleague (forgot his name :(). The location is perfect with a view on the lake and private parking with electric car charging point on spot. We also used their Spa facilities which can be booked at reception for private use (the whole spa it was reserved for my boyfriend and me only). Breakfast offers high quality food and drink options and you can even make a fresh smoothie. Dinner at the hotel was beyond all expectations, everything served is super fresh and they offer a great wine selection as well. the room was spotless clean, spacious and great Wifi.

Set right on the lakeside, Hotel Bel Sit offers a private beach and a breakfast room with terrace, with panoramic views across Lake Maggiore and a small pool. Milan Malpensa Airport is 21 km away. Parking is free. Friendly staff , extremely helpful ,went out of our way to make sure we had a great stay, boutique style, comfortable up-to-date room.

Guests can escape the pace of city life by spending long enjoying romantic walks around the lake or on the private promenade by the harbour. In the evenings, there is the option of having dinner on one of the 2 terraces overlooking the lake, where the hotel frequently organizes buffet barbecues during the summer months. I don’t use the word magical very often. But it is the right word for this place, simply magical. We will come back :D

Hotel Cannero is located in the lakeside town of Cannero Riviera on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and on-site restaurant.

Rooms come with air conditioning and free WiFi. Each room has a private bathroom. Very good location, nice room, very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast with homemade marmelade and all other sorts of good stuff. Possibility to charge electric car for 0,79€/kwh. They have their own winecellar with the possibility to taste and choose wine for your dinner in the restaurant.

The Astoria is set on Stresa's lake-side promenade facing the Borromean Islands. It has a nice garden, and offers rooms with Wi-Fi access, satellite TV and panoramic views.

Hotel Astoria is just a few minutes' walk from Stresa town centre and the congress hall. Free parking is provided on site. I love this hotel! The staff is very helpful, polite, talkative and kind. The view from the room was amazing. Very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. The hotel is very old-kind-exclusive, so you can feel a bit like James Bond (Sean Connery style). Breakfast was delicious and once again - the service will make you feel like royalty. I must say - It was our first time in northern Italy and I have to admit that there is a different, calmer and friendlier atmosphere here than, for example, in Rome or on the Amalfi coast. An ideal place to relax. Grazie mille!

Surrounded by a large park of 6 hectares near the Eastern shores of Lake Comabbio, Hotel Villa Borghi is a Liberty-style designed historic villa a few kilometres from Malpensa Airport.

The Borghi is a 4-star hotel. All rooms come with hydromassage bath or shower, spacious interiors, a TV and Wi-Fi internet. Some rooms have lake views. The rate includes breakfast. Touch of Italian history, clean rooms, helpful housekeepers and receptionists. Very good breakfast with outdoor seating.

Next to the beach and the departure point for boats to the Borromean Islands, Hotel Belvedere San Gottardo is in Verbania centre. Its terrace offers panoramic views across the mountains and Lake Maggiore. A very good hotel, great atmosphere, beautiful decor, clean, nice staff and a super location right at the lake in the historic center of Verbania with lots of nice terraces and views over Lago Maggiore. You are close to the Lake but you have also great access to the surrounding mountains. The hotel offers an extensive breakfast and dinner.
