The beds were comfy and the location was excellent, right on the river in close proximity to the village. We went on a jungle trek with them and had an amazing day and thought it was really good value.

Jhonny, Kela and the rest of the Lucky Bamboo family are amazing and will take care of everything for you. The rooms are really clean and the cabins make you feel like you have a beautiful treehouse in the jungle. They will also organise the best jungle trek for you, with Kela, among others, as a guide. That is such a special experience and the guides are so great; they make you feel very safe and comfortable in the jungle. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Ryan, the owner, and the other staff, are the most accommodating people ever. Bukit Lawang is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss when you go to Sumatra. The people are super friendly and the hospitality is something we could learn of in the west. I booked a 2D 1N jungle trek and tho it was hard it’s one of the best experiences I have done in my life. The guides are very knowledgeable and they are amazing at spotting wildlife. Words cant describe how majestic this experience is, so I highly recommend to experience it for yourself.JordySolo traveller

We booked a 3 day jungle trek, our guides were amazing and looked after us. The food and camping was great. We saw many orangutans,monkeys, gibbons and lots of other wildlife. Fun vibe at the hotel. Arranged excellent transport to and from Bukit Lawang. Room with view of river and jungle. Surprisingly comfy given remote jungle location.
