Sandy Feet was a beautiful, calm, secluded home with a lovely garden, and comfortable atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable, it was well heated with great facilities and homely decoration. The host, Bruce, is very kind and accommodating. Everything you need is there, and the location is great. Not too far from the city centre (though I recommend a car if staying here), and Sandy Feet is very close to the wide, sweeping New Brighton Beach.

I ended up staying 2 extra nights and had no issue exploring the city - there is a bus stop right next to the hostel (bus costs 4 dollars per trip). The pods are comfy, though I can imagine tight for someone tall. The bathrooms were always clean. There is a store and gym (15 dollar for a day) right next door, both really good.RebekaSolo traveller

The flat itself is clean and well decorated, two rooms with two bathrooms, the large couch itself is quite comfy for a lie down too. It is well ventilated (important in summer), and smells good with the room fragrances. It also comes with delicious coffee pods and chocolates ;) Overall, a fantastic stay.
