The room was clean and spacious with beautifully styled decor and ample amenities. We had an overview of town and vineyards from the private balcony, which was also perfect for stargazing at night! It was located in a charming and quiet small town with immediate access to vineyards and hiking trails, which was a nice change for us because we had been staying in big cities for the previous nights. We had our breakfast on the balcony and it was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and included a cupcake for my boyfriend’s birthday per my special request for the host. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I fell and got myself injured on a hike and they provided me with bandages even though it was after business hours.

La Roulotte du Randonneur is located in the Ballons des Vosges Natural Regional Park, 40 km from Mulhouse. It offers a traditional wooden, self-catering caravan with a garden and views of the surrounding forest. A perfect 4 days spent at this place. The roulotte was very clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. There are a few big supermarkets close-by in the town of Maseveaux. We (young couple) arrived by car (I do not think there is another easy way to get there). Parking spot next to the roulotte. Fireplace available so you can make a grill or just enjoy the fire. The host provided us with all the wood we needed. There are a lot of mountain paths (from very easy to medium/difficult paths) you can take to see superb glacial lakes and scenery. Peace and quiet can be found here in abundance. If you need anything, the host will surely be there to help. Highly recommended

Great location looking down the valley and beautifully made yurt which was very comfortable and well equipped.
