Compared to the other camps, the location of the camp in the desert is further from the village, so if you want to get the feeling of remoteness, go for it. I had never experienced such piece and quiet in my life as I did there. Mahmoud - the guide - is an experienced nice guy with plenty of knowledge of the local customs and is sensitive to visitors´ needs. While touring through the desert, he made us a delicious lunch and answered anything we asked about the Jordan culture or family traditions.

It doesn’t feel like there is insecurity in Jordan while you are there on the contrary is very safe even when you are by yourself walking around Amman. Take advantage of the low tourism as the sites that are usually crowded. It will be much more comfortable to visit to take pictures without having to fight the crowds. We stayed in the Martian tent but the other tents are very nice also. The public bathrooms are also clean. The meals and presentation of the food was worthy of a five star resort rating.
