We had a fantastic few nights staying at Pinot! The view was beautiful and the dome very comfortable. Sandy and Steve were wonderful hosts and brought us delicious breakfasts in the morning - the cheese scones were a highlight. Super relaxing stay!

The Shepherd's Rest is situated on a farm, within a 10-minute drive from the centre of Oamaru. The adults-only property has mountain views.

The hut includes a kitchenette with a toaster and a fridge, as well as a kettle. An en suite bathroom with composting toilet is also provided. Quirky and fun from the gypsy caravan shaped cabin to the alpacas and sheep that greet you every morning. We loved our stay here and feeding the critters was a delight.

Free private parking is available on site. beautiful holiday park with amazing views of the lake. we stayed in cottage number 3. we arrived late on a cold night and the staff had left the heater on in the cottage, an incredibly thoughtful and appreciated gesture. the cottage was a great size with separate bedrooms a nice sized kitchen and a comfortable bathroom and shower.

It's warm in winter night as it has heater and electric blanket. I'll definitely rebook when I come to Queenstown again. (Btw, where did you get the small firm pillow? It's the most comfortable pillow I've ever slept on!!)
