People working there are so nice and smilling. The Chef is amazing, his cooking is unbelivable (I already miss it by the way). The tent is confortable, nice matress. The place is great I saw a lot of animals in this area without doing anything, just chilling around the pool. The safari guide (Tim) is knowledgeable and very kind. 2 game drive per day with someone who teach you a lot of things about animals plants grass... Just perfect. We drove for almost 2 hours on gravel to get to the destination, but you know what? It was absolutely worth it. The place is a beautiful scenery with lots of privacy, a beautiful escape, so tranquil and soothing to the soul. Everything is amazing, the tented house is very clean, hygienic, and had all the cutlery and scullery we needed. There was also a first-aid kit, considering that we were deep in the wild, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The staff members were very friendly and professional, the service was exceptional and the food (breakfast, lunch and supper) was delicious! The tent offers a barbecue and mountain views. Summerplace Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s premier mountain biking destinations. Escape to the bush and experience life outdoors. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

Accessible only by 4x4 vehicle or high suspension vehicle, this camps is located on the Gitlane Moonsicle Iudo African Community Cultural Site. best view we ever had in South Africa, and breakfast, lunch and dinner is worth a Michelin Star!!

Built on an elevated riverbank, these luxury, canvas tent suites are set on stilted wooden decks. incredibly friendly staff, very nice and spacious rooms. The meals served in the restaurant are delicious. The rangers were very competent. Thanks to the whole team for this perfect experience!
