The hotel grounds are lovely with several designated walks and views over the golf course. The lobby area is welcoming with pretty decor and indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. The pool is clean and warm with complimentary towels. Decent sized, clean rooms.

I thought the main reception space was excellent with a lovely bar and restaurant boasting lush views of the golf course. The staff were excellent and very well turned out with a friendly demeaned and very approachable. I also loved the toiletries and have now purchased some myself. The room service was excellent and the good very good too, especially the BREAKFAST which I must say was excellent all round!

Room 319 was excellent and very comfortable. We enjoyed the benefits of 'guest of the day' Enjoyed the view over the golf course but didn't have time to explore the gardens properly even though we were offered a buggy tour

The foyer and ground floor area was tremendous, expertly themed and decorated, not unexpected quality given the status of the building. Location was great, being based in the middle of a golf course meant a quiet stay with great views

The golf course as your enter the hotel is beautiful and well kept, if I were a golfer I think I would've been happy. The hotel itself was pretty clean and the breakfast was ok, although felt a little like a school canteen.

Beautiful setting right on golf course (although noisy influx of dozens of golfers quite early in the morning). Lovely grounds very close by. Luxury breakfast.

After changing our room in the golf club to a room in the Mansion we enjoyed staying in our well decorated and comfortable room. The breakfast was okay. The sausages, mushrooms and bacon at breakfast were of a good quality. The location was good and view from the mansion was very attractive. We ate out at two great venues locally The Red Lion where they cooked massive steaks on lava bricks at your table and The Cinnamon Tree which had a Bangladeshi menu which was delicious. Venue good for weddings and golfers
