It offers en suite rooms, free parking and free WiFi. the room was large, comfortable and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was quite large and the shower soaps were a delight.

In the open countryside of Llanaber, Beautiful Wales offer modern, converted barns with stunning beach views. Set on a 6-acre farm home to horses, ducks, and chickens, it is just 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. Delightful accommodation in peaceful surroundings enabled us to have a wonderful break in Barmouth. We stopped in Penty Mochyn for a week in mid-January, and had a great time. We were provided with informative correspondence prior to our arrival by our hosts Jan & Mick, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They were so helpful with advice on local amenities and places to visit - including the shortcut directly to the beach! Our holiday barn was first-class, spotlessly clean, modern and relaxing; the view out to the sea was superb. We enjoyed an excellent holiday and Penty Mochyn is definitely highly recommended!

Our room had a panoramic view but no balcony. Changing the windows so they slide down from the top to open and forming a secure railing is worth consideration. Otherwise a ceiling fan would be a cheaper but secondary option. I appreciate the middle window opens right up but I doubt that would gain bureaucrat approval today. With the glass balcony option more could be charged for the room to obtain a reasonably shorty payback period.
