Jasmine delights in providing delicious breakfast, dinner and snacks- she is an accomplished cook. The location is convenient to Christchurch but rural and peaceful.

Oxford and jet boating at Alpine Jet, 35 minutes' drive away. Sweet, friendly, and very helpful owner. Comfortable, clean, quiet, with great kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Small touches like the owner showing us around the cabin, the platter and fresh eggs from the farm, Towels for the hot springs. Plenty of wood. The most comfortable bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm.

Marchmont is a minute’s walk from Hanmer Springs Golf Club and a 15-minute walk from Hanmer Springs’ city centre. It is a 2-minute drive from the Hot Thermal Pools and a 9-minute drive from Thrill Seekers Adventures Bungy Jumping. Attention to detail, lovely fresh fruit, had everything you would need for a short stay, freshly ground coffee. Jan was lovely and very helpful, gardens were a delight, beautiful scenery, quiet & safe.
