I had thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Cairns Alpine Resort. Lodge is clean and neat, furnishings are beautifully decorated and kitchen is well equipped. Although I checked in late, arrangement is well arranged. Thank you for making my stay at Lake Tekapo a very memorable one.

Very clean accommodation well provided with kitchen items, spare blankets, sheets etc. property is well located and backs onto a golf course with a number of walking tracks. Very nice utility room with washing machine and dryer.

Very new, exceptionally clean. Great facilities, excellent views. Loved the bathroom essentials and the heated floor and towel rails. Terrific location to wonder into the golf course at night to star gaze.

Fantastic views across Lake Tekapo and surrounding mountains from outside or inside, backs onto golf course so great place to see the stars at night. Very well equipped and comfortable, peaceful and a short walk to centre and trails. Would highly recommend.

Easily one of our best stays in NZ. Property was in pristine condition, beautifully maintained. Fantastic location and a short walk from Lake Tekapo and the golf course where we spent a bit of time stargazing. Short drive from property to Mount John Observatory area.

Everything was literally perfect. This is easily the best accommodation I've stayed at to date. After a warm greeting and a quick run through of some very useful maps about the local area we were also treated with a loaf of freshly baked bread! Also there were amazing perks such as a out door bath that's was incredible to soak in while watching the nights sky, a full golf course and all the gear you could ever need, even the opportunity of feeding animals! I will definitely seek out this accommodation again in the future.
