The spacious room was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable. The balcony view of the town below and all the way to the Adriatic was breathtaking. If you plan on hiking the mountain, the trailhead is only a few meters up the road. The husband and wife owners were incredibly friendly and always made sure I had what I needed. They offered coffee (and their own homemade raki) in my downtime. I really enjoyed talking to them in the evening and learning more about the area and country. Last but not least, the breakfast is vast and delicious, with traditional dishes and local ingredients (the eggs are from their chickens). If you’re looking for a place in Krujë, end your search with Villa Duka. I don’t think you’ll find a better stay ran by better people in town.
