Staying with Igor and Gohar was like visiting your favorite family members: the hospitality was unmatched! We were met with coffee and sweets, offered multiple meals and snacks throughout our stay, including local fruits and vegetables, home-baked pastries and home-made wine and vodka, etc. The hosts also provide great recommendations of what to visit in the area. The B&B was kept very clean, our concerns about sharing a bathroom went away quickly. There is a parking space on the premises. 10/10 would recommend.

I reached the guesthouse only to realise it was full, actually accommodating refugees from Artsakh Karabakh during the Azerbaijan incursion. The host was unable to speak in English but had a big heart to make necessary arrangement for me by putting me up at their home instead. The hostess and the elderly mum are the sweetest Armenians! I was offered a huge room with thick blankets, homemade dinner and a filling breakfast, even the milk and cheese come fresh from a cow which lives beneath their living quarter. Their guesthouse, and home, is not far from the cemetery which affords amazing veiw of Shinuhayr and the surrounding. Their location is also great for day hikes to the abandoned villages Khot (aka Machu Picchu of Armenia), Shinuhayr, and Halidzor. I would come stay with them again if I am back in Shinuhayr.
