The view is absolutely stunning. It's hard to see from the pics at booking, but the hotel is located on a hill in the middle of beautiful medows, with nothing but nature surrounding you, and lots of very nice trails. Very serene and beautiful, a unique experience.

Breakfast was served in a charming room overlooking the historic town centre, and the choice on offer for food was a well-presented buffet. I had a large bedroom overlooking the cobbled historic Steyr streets to the front of the hotel, this was quiet at night but during the day it was a hive of activity. There is plenty to do and see in Steyr and the hotel is very central and within easy walking of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes.

Our hostess told us of a pleasant and easy way to walk to the old town. Thunderstorms and a torrential downpour led us to stay in the guesthouse for an evening meal. We were glad we did. Good wholesome food at really value for money prices. We could not have enjoyed our stay more.
