We had an amazing experience staying for 4 nights at Hostal Belen. The owner Mayelin and her staff are all incredibly lovely people who do everything to make their guests feel welcome. We spent hours together just talking about different things. The rooms are exceptionally large and comfortable and the breakfast is really nourishing. Mayelin also prepared us snack boxes for days We could not have the breakfast at the hotel due to super early excursions. Cannot recommend highly enough!

She is so so so nice!! and all staffs are helpful. For the breakfast, it was amazing. The place is a bit far from main street but that was great because main street is so noisy. I couldn't do any tour for the bad weather. But my memory was full by this accomodation.

Location was 5 minutes from the Main Street “caracoles” but was quiet at night. Owners live onsite and gave me a lift to the bus station ,for a few pesos, on my last day.

There is a common kitchen with a big refrigerator,cooking plate, dishes and sink. Room is big enough for one person, with bed, table and chair, night table, shelve. I'd be glad to return!

The garden area is nice and it had a great pool with sun loungers. Don’t come here looking for cable TV and air conditioning, there isn’t any. The breakfast was first rate with cooked to order eggs, cereals and fresh fruit, coffee available 24/7. The staff were excellent and helped us out with travel arrangements. It’s not the cheapest in San Pedro but worth the money.

Located just outside the main centre, about 10 mins walk, which means it is nice and quiet. For one of the cheaper hostels in San Pedro, we thought it was lovely and the kitchen was reasonably well stocked, allowing us to cook properly for one of the first times.
