The owners of the Apartment Monte Luna Mountain are sweet and helpful. They helped us with things to see in Costa Rica and have a lovely dog named Bonnie. We had 2 rooms - one with a full equipped kitchen in ground floor and one on 1st floor with a beautiful view and a little kitchen. We can only recommend this place!

Bonanza is a family run hotel. They are warm and welcoming, happy to help book any tours, offer to provide taxi and laundry service, assist use in their kitchen, and even offer to share food. They know all the best places in town for dining, shopping, and tours. It is in a quiet area, yet within walking distance to the town center of santa elena. The room was clean and comfortable, and wifi, plenty of blankets, a towel, seating area, and fridge are provided. The location is surrounded by nature and I was able to spot various birds and even an armadillo on the property. Also their two dogs are the sweetest! I had such a great time i decided to extend my stay an extra night. I highly recommend Bonanza!

-Really unique house in a quiet, scenic location -WiFi was really good, the best I've ever encountered in Costa Rica -Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our own meals -Showers were fantastic -Host was great -- we chatted through WhatsApp -Location is close to all the key Monte Verde attractions, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood -Saw some good birds/wildlife right from the property

The price-quality ratio for this hotel is amazing! The bedroom and bathroom are both quite large and very comfortable. Everything is super clean, the bed sleeps amazing, plenty of room to leave your stuff, there is a small fridge in the room and the shower is amazing. From our room we could watch a beautiful sunset and see the stars at night. Breakfast was good and the lady who runs the hostel was really friendly and helped us to book some tours.
