I spent 4 days here with a friend and we had such a lovely time staying at Antonio’s hotel. The hotel is tucked away in Eito (around 20mins walk to Pombas) and surrounded by lush vegetation.. a real disconnection from real life :) That being said the wifi works really well if needs be. Antonio was a great help suggesting hikes and restaurants in the area as well as being super friendly. The added bonuses were the breakfast to get ready for the long walks and the pool afterwards! Thanks to Antonio and your team for making the stay super memorable.

Kate is a great host: speaks all languages possible (😀), has all the guests dinner together and has a thorough knowledge of the entire island, giving great tips for hikes and restaurants! Staff was extremely friendly as well! The walk up the hill to get to Casa is quite steep but it’s like you feel rewarded once you get into this little paradise at the end of it!! I will be back for sure!

The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is lots of greenery and fresh fruit - the breakfast was great! The owner and the housekeeper are both very nice and friendly. (There are also two little dogs living there who are super cute!)

We had to leave early in the morning and so he prepared breakfast to take away. The best breakfast I had.. he even made polenta! :) If you have the time, it is wonderful to just sit in the kitchen and have a cup of tea while you talk with Vito. The place is super well situated, in a quiet street and a 4min walking distance from shops and restaurants/cafes. We slept with a view of the mountain..simply beautiful. The hotel lies in the middle of the town Paul, but has a nice garden which gives you peace and quiet. The host Marco is lovely! He speaks fluently English and helps you with anything you need; trails for hiking, arranging transport or reccomending restaurants. The rooms are very neat and have everything you need. The big balcony overlooking the garden have nice seats where you can relax! The breakfast is nice and abbondant. The price quality is just exceptional. We would 100% reccomend!

Belen and Jose were great hosts, and provided loads of information on where to hike, including hikes we could do from the guesthouse. Something different was made for breakfast every morning and it was always really good - it was also a really big breakfast, which was perfect ahead of a day hiking! Dinner was great too, we always looked forward to it at the end of the day! The room was clean, the shower was hot and the views were amazing - highly recommended!IreneYoung couple

The view from the room and the terrace was perfect and you wake up each morning with the sound of the vawes. Breakfast was really nice, always with the fresh fruit. Wifi was a bit shaky in the room, but on the terrace and in the restaurant downstairs was good. The host, Liana, is very friendy and helpful and she makes the best home made pasta and appetizers on the island. I would definitely recommend Black Mamba to everyone visiting Santo Antao.DijanaPeople with friends
