I loved that there were appliances such as toaster and microwave. Everything felt new and fresh. The wifi was very good and the TV was smart, so we could watch YouTube and whatever else we would like. There was hot water all the time. There was enough space for luggage and shoes. The whole place had good heating. The parking was good and you had access to opening the gate through the keys that they give you. Super cool! The host was very friendly and useful, especially for food nearby. Overall it is a great place to stay, would recommend it, and would definitely visit again!

Location is superb. Our room was spacious with an artistic picture of the Plzner Prazdroj factory --- just what we have arrived for :-) U Salzmannu is the oldest pub in the town offering the speciality: "tankowy pivo". This is a big beertank which has been refilled by a hose from a lorry. Worth trying. The kitchen is also recommended, with a terrace behind the building. It seemed that locals arrive in huge numbers as well. The breakfast was okay, although the coffee could be better, but price-quality-wise it is above average. The beds, linen were okay as well as the cleannes of the place (no one knows why but two of 8 towels were arbitrarily change during our stay). I recommend this place and Pilsen as a tourist attraction and not only for beer lovers.

We had such a comfortable stay and everything was super super clean. The staff was great and made check in very easy even only with English, and the breakfast was top! Really easy and flat walk from the city center (10-15 mins) or take the tram + 20 bus using excellent Pilzn public transport. We had a key to let ourselves in after hours. This was our favorite stay in all of Czech Republic.

Great value, wonderful staff, perfect location, with a lovely garden for chilling and having a beer. An enjoyable and always dependable budget option in Plzen. The best thing about Pension Wallis is the friendly, low-key and professional staff. They are never intrusive, but always available when you need help. This is my favorite part of staying here, just how cool every one of the people who work here are. I actually miss them when I'm away, and wish their pub was local for me. The restaurant serves very good basic meals for great prices, and has some of the very best beer in the city. Taking beer or meals back to your room is always no problem, and beer is available pretty late. Location is perfect: right near the tram lines, walking distance from the center and a local shopping mall. A bit noisy on the street side, but courtyard facing rooms are pretty much silent. When I'm in Plzen I never stay anywhere else, and I'd recommend them for any occasion. :)
