The location was not only exceptional for my needs (extremely close to the Uni Potsdam), but also very aesthetically pleasing - very green and quiet. The old house is very majestic, and its transformation into a hotel is impressive: they have managed to make the rooms super comfy while keeping a retro style. I got lucky as I had booked a single room with a bathroom, but due to the limited number of single rooms available, I got offered a double one at no extra cost. The room was very spacious, lovely decorated, and very clean. The fridge on the top floor was also highly appreciated. Overall, it was exactly what I needed for a weekly stay, and it was great value - considering that accommodation in Potsdam is not cheap anyways.
