Very nice stay in a beautiful historic house. Comfortable room, excellent bathroom. I really liked the quiet and the wooded surroundings. Breakfast was delicious. I was lucky to come in mid August and could see a bit of the Lüneburger Heide with blossoming heather and the Hermann Löns memorial.

We did hire a car for going further but there did seem to be a regular bus service to local towns,
