The location is perfect, so close to the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Additionally, the first 60 meters facing the ocean are public beaches, and it's only 8 minutes away from the hostel. I stayed in the new Eco Vip shared dorms, and I must say they are much more spacious and comfortable than I expected. What really sealed the experience was the range of excursions they offered me. The Saona excursion for just $50 is a must! Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! If you're looking for a nice place very close to the beach, Eco Hostal is the perfect choice. The quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable. Few hostels in Bavaro charge $20 per night. I'll definitely come back on my next trip!

Loved the family feel and friendly staff. We arrived tired after a long flight and they made us a delicious Dominican dinner and brought it to our room. They had put a travel cot in the room for our baby. In the morning the breakfast was great, you can get one of the standard ones that's included or pay more for other options. I've stayed in a bunch of places in the same area and the shower water is almost always weird smelling and kinda salty, but here it wasn't like that, it was fine. The dogs are really cute and very friendly 🙂 and the gardens are really sweet. I would definitely go back.

He has always told us in advance before arriving in the country that the transfer from the airport to the hotel is at the visitor's expense as in all parts of the world. The authentic Latin Breakfast, with agacate and exotic Venezuelan arepa, healthy excellent!!! varied every day, they offer fantastic tours and advise with great kindness, always trying to prevent us from spending more money than necessary!
