Omg this place is amazing, it's a village surrounded by the most stunning of views, popular with walkers and motorcyclists. The Hostel is brilliant and the staff friendly and helpful, I am definitely coming back here to explore the Pico's even more. There are so many bars and restaurants for this small town/Village including a medieval castle. There are 2 supermarkets within a 30 second walk, and plenty of picnic spots. Isabel is very warm and welcoming and can explain and show a lot of places to visit in this region. 2-3-4 days of silence is a very good way to save energy for a productive life :) P.S. The road to the hotel is narrow, so I would advise to do not take/rent a big car or mini-bus.
