We came here as a stop on our honeymoon. We loved everything about this place. Jonathan and Simone were warm and friendly. The location was perfect. The food was absolutely amazing. Simone thought of everything....coffee machine in rooms, a little flashlight, wash cloths (hard to come by in Scotland!), Q-tips, a make-up mirror, teas, a mini fridge, and so much more. This was one stop on our tour of Scotland, but the next time we are on vacation, we are going to stay here for a week or 2 to just relax. It is truly the best place ever!

The separate lounge/mini kitchen area is very inviting with comfortable armchairs, TV etc and provides a fridge microwave, kettle, coffee machine and tea/coffee provisions. Baba is the perfect host and quietly and calmly goes out of her way to make your stay memorable. Just loved this place - a true home away from home.

They have really gone above and beyond on local/sustainable/vegetarian concepts and everything was done with such caring. It is the best hotel/guesthouse we stayed at in our one month journey. Moira was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. Apartment was beautifully clean and well looked after. Very comfy bed. We enjoyed a lobster supper one evening, caught and cooked by our hosts which was fabulous - sat on the veranda with a glass of wine taking in the views!

The owners are great hosts, the setting is perfect being a short stroll to the town and an amazing restaurant (The Old School) and secluded with your own space. Comfy bed, good shower room, and all round good space. The personal touches from the hosts are exceptional with their speciality bakes from their bakery for breakfast topping off an amazing stay.
