The reception was warm and welcoming, the two hosts very friendly, funny and helpful. We also liked the rooms for their tasteful and cosy interieur. The hosts made it even possible to have breakfast in bed!

I LOVE this pub/hotel. I have to travel to various cities for work and I am so glad I found this spot! Very safe and welcoming and the beds are SPOTLESS! I’ve travelled to Exeter twice for work and stayed here both times. Slightly outside the centre about 10 mins by car but worth it. Amazing priced rooms, so clean , spotless bed sheets. They provide water bottles, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the rooms which all have beautiful decor bits such as homely mugs and pillows. 100% would come back again and again!! There’s a guy local in the village that only charges £10 to take you in and out of the centre too. Lovely chap !

The Guest house is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Exeter, if you don't fancy the walk, there are frequent buses. A convenience store only 2 minutes away. My Single Room had everything I needed - nice clean en-suite shower room, Tea & Coffee making, wall mounted flat screen tv, and most important, a really comfortable bed! I will always stay there again when I visit Exeter.
