Breakfast was amazing. Lovely fresh fruit salad followed by huge cooked breakfast. As a previous review mentioned-the best black pudding! Cereal and yoghurt were provided for those who could fit it in. It was easy to walk into town and down to the lake from the property. My room was a very spacious single-much roomier than others I have stayed in. Anne and Paul were great hosts and I appreciated a late checkout to fit in with my travel plans.

Everything was perfect. Our view was beautiful. The room was totally spotless. Our bed was huge and so comfortable. Shower was nice. Hosts were so friendly and helpful and provided an outstanding breakfast!! We had only planned on making this a quick stop on our way up to Scotland but we wish we could have stayed longer. We’d love to come back. Thank you!!

The location is perfect. Emma is a great host. She literally thought about everything! There was even a dry cupboard to dry our hiking clothes wnd dry boots. Highly recommended, we would stay again.

Excellent facilites with complimentary coffee, teas and homemade cake in the cosy common room. I had a single room which I found vey comfy and roomy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and our hosts, Nicky and Paul, were very accommodating, friendly and helpful.
