Ruth and Phil are great hosts with a great guesthouse. I had a warm and welcoming stay at Charnwood - my room and the premises were beautfully presented and maintained. The location was great- a short picturesque stroll along the River Lim takes you to the beach front or town. Breakfast is included each day along with a good chat with Ruth and Phil who offered advice on things to see and do. Wifi was strong with no connectivity problems.

Very clean, spacious well presented and comfortable, easy parking. Tina was an excellent host. Great communication, recommended restaurants and places for breakfast.

Great space with kitchenette just perfect for simple meals at the unit. Bathroom a good size and nicely separated from main room by entrance corridor that also had good storage space for bags. Ideal for a travelling cupboards

We are from Taiwan and had a wonderful weekend holiday here. The rooms are nice and clean, with a direct view of Lyme Regis and the sea on the other side. The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts were good and the fossil related wall paintings in the hostel were a nice touch. I look forward to visiting again! 我們來自台灣，在這裡渡過了一個美好的週末假期。旅館的房間精緻乾淨，可以直接望見Lyme Regis的街景和另一側的大海。服務人員非常親切，早餐豐盛美味，旅館裡點綴的化石相關掛畫也很有特色。衷心期待有機會可以再次造訪這裡！

Super great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Tea, milk and Prosecco stocked. The pub downstairs is so much fun! You can hear it very well but it wraps up by 11 ish on weekends and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Staying above a classic pub was such a fun experience and reminded us of the classic shows we would watch. We also chatted with the kitchen staff next door as we passed by each time, great banter. Loved our time here!

The location of the accommodation was perfect for reaching the town. Our room was cosy, with beautiful views of the sea. The help-yourself breakfast was perfect for us as it meant we could have breakfast whenever we fancied and also had the choice of a snack in the afternoon after a day of exploring. John and Ali were extremely welcoming, sending us lots of really useful information before we arrived in order to make the most of our stay, as well as assisting us on arrival. Overall, a really great B&B and we hope to come back soon!
