Situated half a mile from Plymouth Hoe, The Imperial Plymouth is a stylish guesthouse offering modern rooms and apartments. The ferry terminal with regular trips to France and Spain is only 20 minutes’ walk away.

Wow, what a wonderful place! First and foremost, the location, right near the Hoe (park with a magnificent view of the harbor and a historical lighthouse) and the Barbican with many restaurants - and the Gin Distillery (a MUST!) And despite the proximity to all this, it was very quiet! Then the staff - OMG, what a wonderful team, everyone was ready to help with anything - special breakfast, directions, things to see, best restaurants... As I mentioned, the breakfast - several choices, ALL delicious, and made to order (try the poached eggs... a delight!) Parking was a bit tricky "on property", but quite achievable by leaving keys with front desk in case my car was blocking anyone. I LOVED this place! Not a hotel, but a fun happy place to stay! I'll be back!

A very cozy hotel in a picturesque little town. The hotel was in a very new and freshly renovated condition. The room was very clean and the box spring bed was very comfortable. The owners put a lot of thought into the room equipment, we had almost everything you could ask for: Bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel and hand cream, fresh milk in the fridge as well as a selection of different teas and coffee, cereals, dishes and cutlery, smart TV with internet. There was a very amazing breakfast which was brought directly to our room. Highly recommended!

Excellent location between The Hoe and the city centre, so plenty of bars, eating places and shops. The Hoe provides a great place to stroll in the evening. Close to buses, entertainment and attractions. Reasonably quiet except when boy racers nipped round the streets a couple of times. Reasonably equipped apartment with private parking outside the door.

Nothing! The apartment had not been cleaned, was not secure, and we had to sleep in dirty sheets from the previous guests! Also in a run down part of town, away from city centre. The host was extremely unhelpful when this was reported.

Dave & Sally are great hosts, very obliging and helpful. Good value for the price but weather very hot so room rather stuffy a floor fan and small fridge would have been perfect. Would recommend to family & friends although it is in Devonport some distance from Plymouth but train just around corner and cheap as chips. Would be happy to book again as Plymouth is fabulous for shops, sights, restaurants and bars and we weren't staying long enough to cover everything. Hosts very informative about the area and local attractions.

The Cassandra guest house was comfortable and welcoming. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for the city centre and for £5 you got a parking permit you could use almost everywhere. The breakfast was hot tasty and well presented with plenty of choice. What’s not to love 😊
