The owner was very kind and responded to our request right away. He arranged rooms close to the rest of my family's room, which was considerate. The location of the hotel is great. It is a bit away from the busy town, which was good for me, making the hotel quiet. The beds were all comfortable. I had got tired of eating English breakfast at the time due to the long journey. So I was glad to have fresh fruit the hotel offered. Self catering breakfast really worked for our family because we didn't need to rush to the restaurant in the morning. In general, this hotel is for people who want to be in a quiet place to rest and privacy.

To live for five days off- season ( November) above a pub and discover the beautiful surroundings was so nice. The staff and guests of the pub kind and interesting and funny. Good music as well. Great breakfast.

We were walking the SWCP and my partner had rolled her ankle at Pendeen Lighthouse and was struggling to walk by the time we got to the property. Jay helped us get in, then got some ice and an icepack and a footstool which helped to relieve the swelling. He even offered to drive us to our next overnight stop the next day if we needed it. However, the fresh fruit and cereal buffet was EXCEPTIONAL. There was a huge choice of fruits and cereals. Impressive! This was a huge plus point. The bed was super comfortable and the room was warm enough. It was a quiet, peaceful location. The host was very helpful with regard to helping with directions for walking. The location was lovely. The house was very clean and inviting.
