Cleanliness and location, in that order. Brightwater is a fabulous self catering guest house, run by two fabulous people, in terms of the communications I received from them. The bedroom and shared facilities of kitchen and bathroom are faultless. They are clean, well marked with what facility belongs to your room (ie., fridge) and have everything one needs for a stay. This was excellent for me. A large double bed with fresh linen, decent sized TV and heaps of cupboard and drawer space in the room. Further, the water in the bath/shower was always hot and the whole place was warm and cosy with radiators on in the mornings. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking neals - and, again, extremely clean. I was on a journey from Australia to see friends in the UK. Sheila and William were excellent in their communications with me. Cannot rate Brightwater highly enough. Thanks Lovely People 😀
