The location was great, we could walk into the city center in 5 minutes, spotlessly clean, every attention to detail was paid by the hosts, they were very helpful in recomendations as to where to eat and where to go, the breakfast was perfectly cooked and served in a friendly manner.I would highly recomend this guest house.

Our host was very welcoming and helpful about where to eat. A hatted chef in the restaurant next door was a special treat but not cheap! Plenty of good pubs not far away with good food and friendly staff. Parking on site. Tea making facilities.

The accommodation was superb. Clean, tidy, all the facilities we needed and some lovely, thoughtful added extras. Breakfast was lovely. The host was very easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating and flexible. Couldn’t rate more highly.

The hosts gave us a warm welcome and lots of useful information upon arrival.

Our room was at the front of the house with views of the garden. I enjoyed sitting in one of the armchairs reading after exploring the local area. The tea & coffee making facilities included biscuits and bottled water, hot chocolate (better provision than some hotels). Breakfast selection was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food on each of the 3 mornings. The bed was comfortable, and even the duvet cover felt soft!

Staying in a room above the restaurant is always a good thing being able to "pop" downstairs to eat! The location is great as well. Being 3 miles from the city centre makes getting there relatively simple and cost effective be it by taxi, bus or driving yourself. And being 3 miles outside the centre gives you a little peace and quiet.
