Situated in scenic Makrinitsa, the 19th-century Archontiko Repana - Makrinitsa Stone Retreat features traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf or Mount Pelion. The homemade breakfast is served in the rustic dining room or in the garden.

Makrinitsa attracts you immediately with its magnificent view and fresh air. You feel happy and easeful in this village. We stayed twice in Archontiko Repana on different dates, this traditional historical mansion is magnificently decorated. Immaculate and all facilities available. And the home owner Ms. Demi, this wonderful lady warmly welcomed us. She is incredibly hospitable and kind. The breakfast, pastries and all other foods (and of course baklava) she prepared with her hands were so delicious. It was really "harika" to meet her. We miss our talks with her in the inn-yard. We look forward to being your guest again or meeting somewhere. ευχαριστώ για όλα

We loved the location, the view of the city of Volos was very clear and the river below the hotel was the only sound we could here. It is such a serene place and the rest here feels like being in a dream. The breakfast was amazing! Homemade, fresh and so delicious! Everyone of the staff was very polite, attentive and helpful.

Historical building, 80-100 years old, which consists of only 1 room, about 35 sq.m. with one double bed, one sofa and a bathroom. The host had made sure that the cleanliness was good and that we did not lack basic things. There is a wonderful view from the terrace. Peace and quiet most of the time. Beautiful nature around. The village of Makrinitsa is a historical landmark and interesting to explore.

Amazing hosts and value - felt like a second home in greece with a caring family. Sweet details throughout the rooms and property, really great place to stay in Makrinitsa for a solo traveller (or with more people). Note that you will have to leave your car/taxi at the car park about 200m away from the guest house. Location is perfect and I highly recommend for a relaxing mountain stay.

Amazing property with great hosts. The house was spot clean and over equipped. You do not need to bring anything extra with you. Great selection in food and coffee! All amenities was there (from fully equipped first aid kit to night lamp for the kids and from Netflix account to board games!) . Parking solution in front of the house that is vital for Makrinitsa. What a Fantastic traditional mansion so very well preserved over time. Located at the top of Makrinitsa village we had stunning views while spending time & having our breakfast on the great open porch was a great start of our daily excursions around Pelion. Mr. George was a great host very friendly and eager to give advise on places to see and things to do around the area. we will definitely go back and probably even during summer.
