On tree-lined Park Avenue in Ballsbridge, an exclusive area of Dublin, Aberdeen Lodge is a luxury Irish Edwardian property. With excellent reviews from leading guides, it often features in Bridgestone's Top 100 Places to Stay in Ireland.

The location is marvellous - nice area close to the bay and restaurants in the village. Good public transport links with the centre (we took the DART train) but it is also walkable - 30 minutes and you are in the docks area. The building has great atmosphere. Very friendly staff and owners. It was nice to have a chat, it made the stay more special. Excellent breakfast, definitely the best we had during our trip to Ireland when we stayed in 6 different places.

Staff went out of their way to get us a corkscrew after we accidentally bought a corked bottle :-) Able to leave luggage at reception on checking out day, so we were able to nip back into town before flying back.

İ like everything about the Lodge. Near to city center by walking 10 min. İ stayed at a room with sauna which is perfect. They have breakfast not perfect but it is ok. it only has cereals, fruit, bread and biscuits. It was very clean and the air coach 700 is infront of the door of the Lodge which is coming from Airport. The staff was very friendly.

It is a quaint Cottage in a great location for where I needed to get to. The host is charming and very pleasant to deal with who knows the importance of communicating with guests. Thank you for that. I was working most of the time so only really used the place to sleep but it was a comfortable and "Cosy" stay. There were some really thoughtful touches: a welcome card ( hand written!), tea and coffee, condiments and even a little handy first aid tin - loved that!

GREAT hostel! Right by the second stop from the Dublin express and you are immediately in the Temple Bar area. The hostel is quiet and clean and there is staff 24/7 in case you need anything. Perfect for solo female travellers! Also great location if you plan on doing bus tours throughout Ireland as most bus pick up locations are within a 10 minutes walk. I would definitely stay here again.
