I had a wonderful stay at the Elms. The staffs were very kind and accommodating. Amal makes the best masala chai and it was very easy to communicate and organize everything from the hotel. The room was comfortable with Fan and very clean. Definitely recommend if you want to stay closer to the Periyar wildlife reserve.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

The room was massive - they upgraded me for free. And it was so so so clean. The bathroom was perfect. Great location, 15 minute walk to the tourism information centre and 20 to the bus stop where you are required to meet. Just perfect, can’t thank them enough :)

We had an amazing cuisine and cultural experience in Thekkady, thanks to them! They helped us with securing tickets to kathakali, local martial art show, tea plantation & spice tour, and Kerala Ayurvedic massage. The house is beautiful and is located amidst cardamom plantations. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and balcony overlooking the plantations. We will definitely come back! Thank you!

I could have chatted more! I loved the upstairs terrace, which has lounging areas as well as table and chairs and a washing line. The balcony has lots of flower pots which provide a boost of nature to the view.

There is a little path in front of the house where you can go for a stroll along the water. The hosts are very nice! I felt like a part of the family (family owned guest house). I was served delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, tea and coffee during the day. The family's son took me on a boat tour through the backwaters - the big and tiny jungle-like canals.
