I had an amazing stay at Mango Villa. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe, Damini and Anmol are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are big and clean and have a beautiful balcony. It is perfectly located (2 min. walk to the cliff). I ended up staying here 3 times, I found it to be the best homestay in Varkala, I would definitely recommend it! :)

Very nice place to stay. Good value. Located on a narrow lane a few steps away from the path at the top of the cliffs, very close to countless tourist restaurants and shops. Friendly helpful staff. They washed clothing using on-site washing machine at no extra charge. And they arranged scooter rentals for us. Our "deluxe villa" room had a seating area and hammock in front.

Lovely place to stay when in Varkala. I rented a small cottage with AC, and it was perfect. Close to cliff and all of the shops and restaurants, and of course the beach. The garden area is nice and cool thanks to the trees everywhere. I even saw a mongoose stroll through the garden! Breakfast was included in my package and was great. Good choice of items on the menu. Highly recommended!!
