(+) The breakfast is simple, but it includes all the basic beverages and bread. (+) The provision of hot water and hot coffee at the main entrance is very thoughtful. (+) The room is quiet, the single bed is soft and comfortable."

Very basic guesthouse. We stayed 2 nights here with different room types as it was fully booked. Room are reasonable size. The shower was weak, not even enough to wash hair with. Water was cold half of the time. Breakfast was basic with limited choices of food.

Amazing view and fabulous place amongs mountains, icelandic horses and landscape. The place is good if u want to go to Glacier lagoon with a good distance and price tradeoff. Comfy room. Familiar and very clean kitcken. I love farm guesthouses. Don't forget to visit a market for food at Vik before to go to farmhouse if u don't want to go Hofn.

The guesthouse is fully renovated. The facilities are top notch. It really feels like a hotel. They also offer the kitchen from the hostel uphill in case guests would like to use it. Breaskfast was delicious and the view is perfect.

Super cheap stay----great for a night or two if you're in the south/southeast, especially if you just need a pitstop when vistiting Jokulsarlon or Hofn. The family running it is nice and easy to talk to. The shared space is small but sufficient. The surrounding farm is also beautiful.
