The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. The room was large and had a balcony overlooking a beautiful scene. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. It was like staying at someone's private villa; historical, yet un-to-date inside. The town of Meran is outstandingly beautiful and perfect for taking long walks.

Pensione Hecherhof was a great stay! It was a beautiful home in the midst of an apple orchard just 5 minutes by car from Merano. It was modern, clean and comfortable. The self serve breakfast was outstanding with various breakfast items, an espresso/cappuccino machine, and outdoor patio seating as well as an indoor dining room. The balcony with table and chairs overlooking the orchard and mountains was a bonus! The pool area was surrounded by well kept lawn and gardens, beautiful! There is free parking at the front entrance for easy access. Our hostess was gracious and helpful. Would stay again!

There are plenty of outdoor sitting areas around the outside pool, which was in the back of the hotel. Location was nice and quiet and about 20 minutes to walk into town, but bus rides are free with the guest card. The staff was super nice and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel.

The kitchen was well equipped, but not enough for making big meals. :-) The location is very goid, near to the city center, but in a peaceful area. I loved all the instructions what we received before we arrived. The host, Manuela was super caring and friendly.

Great location, a short walk into the main town centre. Read a few reviews about the bed not being great, but the host had installed a new bed and it was super comfy. You will have a great sleep!

For dinner, the restaurant is very good and the wine recommendations were excellent. In fact, we ate in more often than we planned. Very quiet location, yet in 15..20’ you can walk to Meran city centre. Host and staff are very friendly and accommodating and open to special requests. Our suite was large and clean. The view was amazing.

There was a portable air conditioning unit, and a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for a short stay. Our host (who is also the owner of the trattoria) was very charming, welcoming & friendly, and provided us with excellent suggestions and advice - not to mention a fantastic dinner in his trattoria! The place is really spacious, warm and quiet. The communication with the host was excellent and she was replying straight away to any queries we were having.
