It’s the best guesthouse that I have been to in Okinawa (out of 4). First things first, Kishaba, the owner, is so nice and informative. The facility is amazing, from the large beds to the well equipped kitchen and the nice living room. 5 minutes walk from everything you’ll need. I will surely come back.

Absolutely stunning surroundings. The grounds are lush and comfortable with lots of seating options. Great place to chill and chat with new friends. The double bed room was really lovely, extremely spacious (especially for Japan) and had lovely views out to the garden and Kabira Bay. The staff was all super welcoming and helpful. The owner was very engaged and would remember everyone's name whenever he came around. They changed out the air-conditioning unit in the common room while we were there so it will likely be more powerful soon. Walking distance to 2 different beaches and very close to the (quite limited) bus stop.

Highly recommend!! The owner is super kind all the time, they serve us free to use washing machine, scenec balcony, rooftops, shared kitchen, and condiments or so. The property is indicated decently how to stay properly comfortable, sustainable, and enjoyable.I love this island and the proper, would come back with my family next time!

If you want to experience the real Ishigaki life stay at Oceanos. The owners are wonderful. Jordy’s love for the outdoors and his knowledge of Ishigaki makes his tours even more special. Highly recommend guests to go on one or two of his tours. It is a bit far from the town but that was not a con for us. The drive through the farmlands was beautiful. We enjoyed eating outside on some nights while watching the beautiful sunset. There are a few delicious places to eat not far away, and local juice stands. The stargazing at night is SO AMAZING ! Thank you for everything Jordy!

The host, Shizuka, could not have been kinder or more helpful. She helped us make restaurant reservations (a must during low season), book activities and had lots of great suggestions for things to do. Flipper the cat was also a delight! The property was clean, cozy and has all the amenities you could need including the option to rent a BBQ on the terrace which we loved. We hope to come back again soon.

You can hear the crickets at night which is quite soothing. A great beach guesthouse! Gon, the owner, greeted me personally, helped me to park my car and sat down with me to show me a map of the local area and give recommendations. He even made some suggestions for what to do on Iriomote Island when I went there after Ishigaki. Laundry facilities with drying space on site. A few restaurants and bars nearby - walkable.

The accommodation has everything you need and the hosts, who live nearby, were fantastic and helped us organise kayaking, helped when we had an issue with a hire car and introduced us to local cultural events.

They helped us on more than one occasion and were fundamental to the success of our stay in Ishigaki. The position of the hotel is fantastic if you need to catch a ferry to the other islands and it's also near lots of places to eat. We made good use of the laundry, cheap and easy to use. The room was clean, well furnitured and very quiet (if you keep the windows closed). Good air conditioning. Good breakfast, we particularly appreciated yogurt with cereals.ireneYoung couple
