This place is great. You will love it. Taka and Mo are unbeatable hosts or innkeepers. It is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood walking distance to the Jogasaki Coast, and Taka's morning tour of the Jogasaki is breath-taking. Beautiful scenery, informative guide (Taka), and a good hike. Mo makes an excellent and healthy breakfast every morning with high class coffee and tea . . . Only the best. You will want to stay here again. I will. It's an 8-minute walk to the Izu-Kogen train station and a 1 to 4 minute walk to a number of restaurants down museum road.

I had a marvelous stay in this great guest house. There was great support for everything, and everybody was very friendly. Also, it was very easy to get in contact with new people. I was hiking for 2 days and therefore I loved the Onsen and the great food in the evening. I also got very nice sake advice, and the sake tasted really great. The view from your room is amazing and I love the Japanese style room. The owner suggested a restaurant on the beach and it was really good (fish) It is easy to reach from the station but be aware there is a really step 20 feet to go from the road to the property. If you are going to the Zoo with the Capibara there is a bus to get there (but you do have to walk 20m and it is a bit tricky to figure out which bus stop) Internet worked well. Be aware this is not a luxory acomodation but if you are looking for piece and quite with a beautiful ocean view this is a fantastic bargain!
