Check in and check out was very simple and the owner was very kind and helped me check a few things I had questions about nearby places when I checked in. I had a twin room all to myself when I thought it was initially dormitory style.

It's in a lovely quiet area that is still close to a lot of the main tourist areas if you are driving. Plenty of facilities that help you make it into a little home away from home and the host was so friendly and helpful. The host, Stefano, was extremely friendly and chatted to us for a while about the local area - he then offered us some of his homemade bread! There is a really nice natural onsen and izakaya nearby - so it was the perfect location to stay to experience rural Japan. Highly reccommended.
