The food was one of the bests I had in Laos! The place is surrounded by mountains and a beautiful river where you can see the local people fishing, bathing, etc. The sunset was really amazing! I planned to stay 1 night but I stayed 3 nights because the place really surprised me!

A lovely place to stay while doing the Thakhek loop. We had our own room with a balcony and hammock to relax in after a long day. The room had just a fan no aircon but it was ok for us. The room also had bug nets which was great and the beds were comfortable.

Vicky is an amazing host, food is sumptuous (pork fillet with mint is a highlight) and the rooms are really comfortable. I was in one of the rooms facing the river and can only recommend them for the pleasure of waking up and opening the curtains to enjoy the view. Do use the taxi boat to go to the caves it is worth it!

You can easily visit the cave in the morning and check out after coming back from visiting it, if you decide to not visit the village at the other end of the cave. It is also very quiet and peaceful here.
