I was greeted every morning by birdsong on my balcony. My room was spacious and comfortable, and Jennifer, the proprietor, was incredibly helpful. The Mauritian friend I'd planned to visit had a health emergency the day I arrived and my whole visit changed abruptly. I reached out to Jennifer and she graciously helped me re-plan. She saved the day!

We arrived in Mauritius early in the morning but our flight out was late at night. So we booked this place to rest and clean up before our upcoming 20+ hours flying home. Our host arranged a pickup at the cruise terminal for us and then a dropoff at the airport (and he escorted us into the airport terminal) in the evening. We felt like we got very personalized service and the accommodations were very comfortable! Plus, everyone involved was very friendly and helpful!

The location is right on the beach, so you can stay locally if not in the mood to travel. The village is picturesque and quiet. The accommodation is the closest you can get in Mauritius to a boutique hotel, but at very low prices. I highly recommend this place.
