A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

This place is wonderful. It's in a quiet neighborhood, but just a few blocks from the Anne Frank House, 9 bridges and some of our other favorite places. There is also a beautiful private garden attached. If you're looking for a good Hotel alternative, this is it! The host was exceptional, providing us with all sorts of information, a bottle of Prosecco and even parting gifts.
