Amaru Colonial is a colonial inn in the artistic SanBlas district, 2 blocks from San Blas square. The charming central courtyard features soft lighting and a colorful flower garden.

Guests can enjoy a daily American breakfast with fresh fruits, juices and rolls. Due to its central location, local restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Shuttle service is available only from the airport to the property, upon request and for a surcharge.

Beautifully decorated, it has a nice patio/garden with small tables where you can chill. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view. The bathroom was also big and the water pressure was great, very hot water. It has central heating, though it only works at night, given Cusco's weather it shouldn't be an issue. You can get free coca and muña tea, or hot water. Breakfast was very good, with a lot of fruits.

You couldn’t get more central and have lovelier staff. I stayed here twice - first time with balcony overlooking the street which was great to stand out on and watch the world go by. The second time a smaller back room, but still with a view over the cathedral. Coming back was like coming home - the two ladies were so welcoming. Breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate. I would stay here again.

Praxi, the manager, is very welcoming and friendly. The beds are really comfy and the hostel is spotlessly clean. It's in a quiet part of Cusco, just a 5 minute walk, across Puente Grau, into the city centre. Each room has an allocated (lockable) bathroom. Nice chill-out area.

Excellent host who was very welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, room was quiet and the shower was spacious, clean and had great hot water pressure. The location is really quiet and close to San Blas markets for cheap, delicious food and also close to other nice restaurants. Nobody around to haggle you in this area too but it is still a short walk to the central plaza. This place deserves it’s high ratings and i’m surprised how cheap it is offered for such great quality service.

Great location (short walk from the main square). Hosts were exeptional and went out of their way to ensure I enjoy my stay! The couple were so nice I'd stay there again just for that. You will never get that kind of treatment in a hotel. Room was big with a window facing the courtyard. It was nice and quiet being separated from the street. Host were willing to cook breakfast to suit my schedule and were happy to keep my main laguage whilst I was away for 5 days on a trek.

A beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel in the heart of the historical centre. Our room was quiet, charming and very nicely decorated. Staff are efficient and friendly. There's a nice little cafe tucked inside the courtyard. Great attention to detail here, with fresh water, alpaca blankets and local antiques in the rooms. Nice flower arrangements throughout the hotel, too!
